Do you like my pictures? Sorry, but I had to do it. Although I did not teach in the 1950s or 1960s, I am teaching for my fourteenth year. I can honestly say I have taught in three decades. I think that is pretty neat to think about.
In all seriousness, I love coming to work at East each day and teaching seventh grade students the skills of language arts. After living and working in Illinois all of my life, I was lucky to have found Wayzata East in 2009 to continue my teaching career.
I obtained my English degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, while also playing basketball for four years. I then completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois.
My hobbies include reading, sports (Go Illini, STL Cards, and Bears), and relaxing with family and friends. I happily live in Blaine with my family. We are very blessed to have met such friendly and gracious people and to have made life-long friends.
