I was born and raised in Frankfort, Illinois. Both my parents are retired teachers, so I guess you could say that I have gone into the family business!

 

I hold bachelor's degrees in Speech Communication and Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology.

 

I first taught for four years in Illinois, then one year in Anoka. I  came to Kimberly Lane in 1999 and have been teaching 5th Grade ever since.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, spoiling my cat, reading, walking and hiking, quilting, and gardening. My favorite places to spend time, other than Minnesota, are the Tetons and Walt Disney World.
