Welcome to the Wayzata High School Baseball site. The information found below is for the upcoming season of 2015. Information will be updated as the year progresses with the most recent additions placed at the top. Please check this site every few weeks. Below you will find information on upcoming meetings, off-season workout options, tryouts, spring break, and our chemical policy. If you have any questions regarding any of this material, please contact me at 763-745-6643 or email@example.com. Thank you.
All players must be registered with the Athletic Office before they can tryout. If they are not registered they will not be able to tryout for that day (they are also not allowed to stay and must go home). This includes a valid physical. Please do not bring registration materials to the tryout. Forms should be turned in to the Athletic Office or complete online prior to the first tryout date in March. You should begin registering towards the end of Feb.
A player/parent meeting is scheduled for April 7 at 6pm in the WHS
cafeteria. All players and at least one parent are expected to attend.
If you have questions regarding these times, please let me know.
The following player meetings are scheduled for the 2015 season. ALL players who plan on trying out this year are expected to attend ALL meetings. If you are unable to attend one of the meetings, either contact me or another player who was there to gather the information that was discussed.

2015 Winter Workouts
- Optionalwinter workouts will begin on Jan. 5. The schedule for workouts will be as follows:
Mondays: 6:30-7:00am in the WHS weight room
Tuesdays: 3:30-5pm in the CMS dome - hitting only
Wednesdays: 3:30-5pm in the CMS dome - hitting, throwing, and defense
Thursdays: 3:30-5pm in the CMS dome - hitting only
Fridays: 6:30-7:00am in the WHS weight room
- It is important that players come into tryouts as close to in-season shape as possible. Tryouts are extremely competitive and there will be cuts at all levels. In the end, the players that are ready to go from day 1 in March are the ones who stand the best chance to make a team. While these workouts are optional, they are HIGHLY recommended.
- It is also recommended that players attend open dome times at CMS offered by PWYBA (see pwyba.com) for additional off-season workouts.
