"Brad Anderson, a 23-year coaching veteran, begins his 14th season as head coach of the Wayzata High School’s Trojan Football team this fall. His coaching career began at Henry Sibley High School in West St. Paul, where he served as both an assistant coach and offensive coordinator (1989-1992).
Trojan career highlights include: State 5A Champions (2005, 2008, 2010), State 5A Runner Up (2004 and 2011), State Playoff Participant 8 out of 13 years, 5A “Coach of the Year” (2005, 2010), & MN All-Star Game’s Metro Head Coach (2002). Brad’s head coaching record stands at 128 wins-25 losses in 13 seasons (.837 winning percentage). Graduates from his program include: Marion Barber III (Dallas Cowboys), Dominique Barber (Houston Texans), and James Laurinaitis (St. Louis Rams).
Anderson graduated from Augsburg College with a BA in Biology (1988). He received an MA in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of St. Thomas (1995) and an Administrative License from the University of St. Mary’s (2010).
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he is also an administrator in the Wayzata Public School System. Brad, his wife Maari, and their two daughters, Barrett (19) and Isabelle (17)..."
