Do you like my pictures? Sorry, but I had to do it. Although I did not teach in the 1950s or 1960s, I am teaching for my sixteenth year. I can honestly say I have taught in three decades. I think that is pretty neat to think about. In all seriousness, I love coming to work at East each day and teaching seventh grade students the skills of language arts. After living and working in Illinois all of my life, I was lucky to have found Wayzata East in 2009 to continue my teaching career.I obtained my English degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, while also playing basketball for four years. I then completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois. My hobbies include reading, sports (Go Illini, STL Cards, and Bears), and relaxing with family and friends. I happily live in Blaine with my family. We are very blessed to have met such friendly and gracious people and to have made life-long friends.
