The academic enrichment program at Wayzata High School is designed for students in grades 9 and 10 who have experienced significant academic difficulty over time during their recent academic career. Designed as a support to students for their core academic classes, students are provided instruction by a teacher who is assisted by tutors composed of upper class students who work individually with students. Students are enrolled in the program for one block per term and receive a credit for their involvement. This course can be repeated for additional credit.
In addition to enrolling through the registration process, students may be referred and enrolled in the program by counselors, administrators and other school personnel.
