  • Class Description:
The WHS CREW (Creative, Responsible, Educated, Workers) is a student-run business. This business creates, markets, and sells hand-crafted products, including lanyards, jewelry, beaded stainless-steel service pieces, soap, greeting cards, and more.  The WHS CREW is part of the Wayzata High School Work Program. While in this class, students learn many business skills needed to be successful when entering into the working force.  Students receive a management position in the business (see organizational chart ) and gain experience in areas such as sales, marketing, advertising, visual display, special orders, inventory, and accounting, as needed to support the CREW. Soft skills and social communication skills are embedded in the daily work environment.  All students participate in the production of all hand-crafted items sold by The CREW. The WHS CREW participates with Service Learning Projects.
